About Me
Hello! My name is Niyousha, and I am an Integrative Certified Nutritional Practitioner (Holistic Nutritionist), yoga instructor and reiki practitioner.
The one thing that unites every human, is food. We all love it and find comfort in it. Food is delicious and fun, yet it can also become very stressful and cause anxiety or unhealthy habits. This is where I come in, and I’m here to help!
My passion for gardening and a healthier lifestyle has led me to study nutrition. I will work with you to empower you to be attuned to and trust your body, without following the typical “diet lifestyle”. I provide nutritional advice in developing healthier eating habits, digestive health (gut health management), weight management and type II diabetes, while incorporating lifestyle changes (movement, stress and sleep).
I love helping women on their peri-menopause/menopausal journey, understanding the changes in your body, foods and supplements that support these changes, as well as lifestyle management.
Prior to my nutrition journey, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Toronto. I continued my education with a Masters of Arts in Education, followed by post-graduate certificate in TESL.

Nutrition consulting sessions are personalized for each client and offered online via one-on-one video conferencing. I work with you to customize a series of protocols to target your nutritional health goals. We will assess and evaluate your symptoms, get to the root cause, improve nutrition, and make lifestyle changes such as sleep, movement and stress management to bring the body back into balance.

The importance of moving your body daily, for at least 20-30 minutes is often underestimated. Yoga is one the greatest ways to not only get your body moving, but also help strengthen your mind and body - not to mention gaining confidence, developing self-awareness and observing your breath.
My yoga practice involves a combination of ashtanga, vinyasa and mobility work. Beginner and intermediate private one on one yoga sessions are offered. Each session is customized based on your level of experience, your strength and physical needs (such as previous injuries).
Reiki is a universal, hands-on healing, life form energy. Reiki acts as the fuel to your tank, and when the body is depleted from energy, reiki can help with replenishing it. Some benefits of reiki include: reduced stress and anxiety and promoting relaxation. Energy can stagnate in the body due to emotional pain, trauma, or physical injury, and regular reiki treatments can help balance the mind and body.
A typical session involves the client to be treated while laying down on a flat surface (using sheets) fully clothed. Reiki partitioner begins treatment with attention to your chakras using both hands lightly placed on each specific area, held for 2-5 minutes or until the energy is no longer flowing.
Distant reiki can be sent to anyone, anywhere, at anytime, with permission from the recipient.
