I love making homemade pasta when I have the time. I do my best to make my own pasta from scratch. And, some days I get lazy and use store bought pasta. I created this recipe with homemade semolina pasta for my daughter who is always craving lasagna. I hope you try it!
PS. I don’t always measure. Sometimes I just eye ball it!
Pasta sheet ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups semolina flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
Filling ingredients:
- Ground chicken (seasoned and cooked to your liking)
- Bunches of basil leaves
- Fresh sliced mozzarella cheese
- Homemade sauce (or you can use store bought)
Homemade sauce ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes (adjust based on serving)
- Feta cheese (I use Macedonian – less salty)
- 5-6 cloves of garlic
- Fresh basil leaves
- Fresh oregano leaves
- Your preferred seasonings
